Course Objectives With this course the students will be able to make fundamental calculations for the design of the construction components.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to define mechanical quantities,
  • will be able to define measurement units,
  • will be able to calculate with using scalar and vectorel quantities,
  • will be able to calculate moment,
  • will be able to calculate resultant forces,
  • will be able to calculate support reactions of isostatic beams.
Course Description This course includes; measurement units, scalar and vectorel quantities, resultant force calculation, moment calculation, isostatic beams and support reactions topics.
